Michael Barkyoumb

When Michael Barkyoumb joined the staff at AbilityFirst in 1999, he did so with a core value in mind: “Every individual deserves the opportunity to live up to their true potential.” He has remained focused on that goal for the past 23 years. There’s an element of magic in what he does. There really is, as he’s a magician member of the Magic Castle in Hollywood! He brings a fun flair to his work, along with a background in sociology, kinesiology, and public administration. Barkyoumb has also held membership in Rotary, Kiwanis and Lions clubs. A team player who adheres to a code of honesty, integrity, and respect, he has a knack for observing and nurturing the best qualities and abilities in individuals. He currently oversees the delivery of programs at the Lawrence L. Frank Center.
