Courtney joined AbilityFirst as Chief Development Officer in May 2023 bringing more than fifteen years’ experience leading development programs and growing community campaigns Courtney has a Master’s degree from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary, a Bachelor’s degree from Pfieffer University, and a certificate in Nonprofit Management from Duke University. Courtney knew she had to join the team at AbilityFirst the very first time she toured the Lawrence L. Frank Center in Pasadena, as witnessing participants and staff in action was deeply inspiring to her. “AbilityFirst creates belonging, and our Southern California communities are so much better for AbilityFirst being a part”.
Courtney considers herself to be a connector of others and loves her role at AbilityFirst and that it gives individuals a direct opportunity to invest in a mission that they are passionate about.
