College to Career is a community-based program for students who want to go to college

College to Career (18+) Community-based program for college-enrolled young adults age 18+ that teaches life skills and fosters personal and social development through an academic support program and mentorship dedicated to helping students succeed on their campus.

This multi-year program offers a unique blend of self-discovery and community exploration to help students foster independence and self-advocacy. We provide the academic support, life-skills training, and community-based experiences necessary for students to succeed in a college environment and prepare for independent living.

Our structured approach focuses on:

  • Academic Success: Services and support tailored to help students navigate higher education and achieve their educational goals.

  • Life-Skills Training: Developing the autonomy and practical skills needed for a successful transition to adulthood.

  • Career Launchpad: Once students have completed the educational component, the College to Career Team will assist students connect to the resources to transition to community jobs, internships, or volunteer programs as they launch their career paths.

FAQ:
Student must be able to safely and independently navigate in a community-based program with an average ratio of one Educational Coach to every two students.

In and out-of-class support provided in a year-round structured environment; Typically Monday – Friday 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. with flexible hours based on class schedule.

Weekly schedule promotes community involvement, socialization, self-care, vocational skills development, navigation safety, self-advocacy, and wellness.

Transportation to/from program not provided.
